30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Run your RotoTools center on real parts, in your machine, on your jobs. If it isn’t performing the way you expected, reach out within 30 days and we’ll work with you on the right fix — repair, replacement, or refund.
We’re not chasing a single sale; we’re building a long-term relationship, and we’ll do what’s right for you. No restocking games. No arguing. Talk to the people who sold it to you.
Applies to standard catalog items. Custom and special-order centers are built to your approved print and are not eligible for refund — see Specials below.
35% Trade-In Allowance
Got a worn-out center taking up space in a tooling drawer? Any brand, any condition, any taper. Send it in and receive a 35% trade-in allowance toward the purchase of an equivalent new RotoTools center.
Repair at 40% of New
A quality live center is worth rebuilding. Send us your worn center and we’ll return it to spec — new bearings, new seal, fresh lubricant, point reground to original accuracy — for 40% of the cost of a new center.
Don't replace it. Renew it
We repair and regrind RotoTools centers and most other brands. If your center is beyond practical repair, we’ll tell you straight and apply our trade-in allowance toward its replacement instead.

Every custom center starts with a drawing — drawn by us. All RotoTools workholding is designed in-house, and most specials are machined by modifying our proven standard platforms: a special built on a design we already know works, not a ground-up guess.
Before we build anything, you receive a print for approval — every dimension, every angle, in writing. Nothing goes to production until you’ve signed off.
Because specials are manufactured to your approved print, they are not eligible for refund. Your approval print is your guarantee that what arrives is exactly what you ordered — and if we build it wrong against your approved print, that’s on us and we’ll make it right.

Centers and workholding are the only thing we do. Every product in our line is designed in-house, and the same team handles the modifications, the repairs, the regrinds, and the trade-in evaluations — not a general shop taking on whatever comes through the door.

How do I order a custom or special center?
- Send us your application details — taper, point style, RPM, workpiece weight, and any dimensions that differ from standard — or a print if you have one. Every custom center starts with a drawing we produce and send back to you for approval; nothing goes to production until you’ve signed off on every dimension.

Can specials be returned if I change my mind?
- No — because specials are built to your approved print, they’re not eligible for refund the way standard catalog items are. Your approval print is the safeguard: if we build it wrong against what you approved, that’s on us and we’ll make it right.

Do you build specials from scratch, or modify existing designs?
- Most specials are machined by modifying our proven standard platforms, which is faster than a ground-up build and starts from a design we already know works. Ground-up builds happen too, depending on what you need — ask and we’ll tell you which applies to your request.

What’s your standard satisfaction guarantee?
- Any standard catalog item is backed by a 30-day guarantee. If it’s not performing the way you expected, reach out and we’ll work with you on the right fix — repair, replacement, or refund. Custom and special-order centers, built to your approved print, are excluded from refund (see above).

Do you take trade-ins?
- Yes — any brand, any condition, any taper. A worn-out center gets a 35% trade-in allowance toward an equivalent new RotoTools center.

Can you repair a center that’s not a RotoTools brand?
- Yes, we repair and regrind most other brands, not just our own.

What does a repair include, and what does it cost?
- 40% of the cost of an equivalent new center. That covers complete disassembly and inspection, new precision bearings, new coolant seal, point reground to original accuracy, fresh lubrication, and return to published runout spec. If a center is beyond practical repair, we’ll say so and apply the trade-in allowance toward its replacement instead.
